I'm nobody! Who are you?
我是個無名小卒！你是誰？
Are you nobody, too?
你，也是個無名小輩嗎？
Then there's a pair of us — don't tell!
那我們倆湊成一對了！噓！別張揚！
They'd banish us, you know.
他們可會把我們排擠出去，你是知道的。


How dreary to be somebody!
當大人物乏味的很啊！
How public, like a frog
公開的啊！像青蛙
To tell your name the livelong day
一整天呱呱叫著自己的名號
To an admiring bog!
對著那一片欣羨的沼澤！
高中時，
好喜歡這首詩！
因為短短的容易背誦！
根本不懂那詩中的含意，
狂妄的青春，
不自知：
一干人都好似愛鼓譟的青蛙！
蛙聲、蟬鳴......
在夏夜的池畔樹林間，
特別地擾人清夢！
『蛙～蛙～蛙～』
『知了～知了～知了～』
他們完全不知了：
自己公開的叫囂使人氣惱！
